Why Housewives Pour Beer into Potatoes: An Interesting Cooking Option

There are many variations of cooking potatoes - they can be boiled, fried, mashed, made into French fries...

But all these dishes, it must be admitted, have become rather boring, so we suggest you try a still unbeaten recipe for potatoes with beer.

To do this you will need:

  • 0.5 l of beer;
  • 700 g potatoes;
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil;
  • 3 cloves of garlic;
  • salt;
  • ground black pepper.

The tubers need to be washed thoroughly and then cut into strips.

Pour beer over the resulting mixture and leave for half an hour (by the way, it is better to use a light drink - a dark one can give the potatoes a bitter taste).

After 30 minutes, drain the beer, add oil and garlic passed through a press.

Don't forget to salt and pepper the potatoes. Spices should be added to taste.

Now transfer the potatoes to a baking sheet and place in the oven.

To get ready, the dish will need to be in the oven for about 40 minutes at 200 degrees.
