Usually, amateur cooks do not show originality when creating deviled eggs.
The most popular way to prepare the dish is to put a mixture of yolk, mayonnaise, garlic and herbs into half an egg white.
Of course, sometimes gourmets have a desire to make a dish more unusual.
But usually it is limited to using ingredients such as cheese, mushrooms or beets.
There is a more interesting version of the dish. Herring can be used as the basis for the filling.
You need to boil six eggs, remove the shells, and then cut them into two equal parts.
The yolks must be removed from all the halves. These 12 "hemispheres" should be placed in a separate container, crushed and mixed with dill.
Add half of the finely chopped herring fillet to the yellow-green mass, as well as cubes obtained from a quarter of an onion.
The prepared mixture must be seasoned with mayonnaise (1 tbsp). The egg filling is ready. All that remains is to fill the white "boats" with it.
It will turn out very appetizing and original. In terms of taste, "herring" stuffed eggs are noticeably superior to dishes with mushrooms or cheese.
