Experienced housewives spend 15 minutes preparing spicy salted mackerel, which is literally swept off the table.
The following products are used to prepare the dish:
1. First, prepare the brine. Boil water in a small saucepan, add salt, sugar, and spices. Let the brine boil for a few minutes, then remove it from the heat.
2. While the brine is cooling, work on the fish. Cut off the head, tail, fins, remove the entrails and wash the carcasses thoroughly. Remove the black film on the side walls.
3. Next, prepare the container in which the mackerel will be marinated. The material of the container matters. Experienced cooks advise using a glass or plastic container.
The fish is placed in a dish and filled with brine. The cooking process takes a quarter of an hour, but after that the mackerel should marinate in the refrigerator for a day. After 24 hours, it can be served with boiled potatoes with dill or parsley.
