Homemade Dumplings Recipe in a Hurry: When You Want to Eat, But Don't Want to Cook

The most delicious dumplings are those that are made at home. This process is not fast and you can call dumpling making a family tradition.

But when you want to eat and don't want to cook, so-called "lazy" recipes come to the rescue. There are lazy cabbage rolls and other delicacies, including pelmeni.

To prepare you will need:

  • 200 g minced meat;
  • 200 g flour;
  • 110 g water;
  • 3 eggs;
  • salt and pepper to taste;
  • bay leaf.

How to cook

Mix raw eggs in a bowl, add cold water, salt and mix thoroughly.

Then add flour and mix the mixture.

Salt the mince and add pepper. Mix and send to the bowl with the dough. Mix the mass thoroughly.

Next, pour two liters of water into a saucepan, add salt, bay leaves and bring to a boil.

Pinch off some of the dough with minced meat and drop it into boiling water. Lazy dumplings are cooked for about 10 minutes.

All this time they need to be stirred so that they don’t stick together.

When ready, the dumplings should float to the surface.

Serve with butter, sour cream and herbs.
