You will be able to experience the taste of pea puree from your childhood again thanks to this recipe.
To prepare one serving you will need:
First, remove all debris from the peas, then rinse the grain until the water becomes clear.
It is worth soaking the peas in this clear water overnight, adhering to a proportion of 1 to 2 (for 100 g of peas you will need 200 ml of water).
In the morning, drain the water and put the peas in a saucepan. Pour 250 ml of water into it.
Add salt and wait until the water boils. Now you can set the heat to low and continue cooking the pea porridge for another 40-45 minutes.
If the liquid has not yet boiled away, it should be drained and then pureed using an immersion blender.
Before serving, season the dish with butter.
