To understand how to restore bread to its former softness, you must first understand why it has become stale.
The reason bread goes stale is because the loaf loses moisture.
This means that the bread will become soft when this moisture is returned to it.
For this you will need a microwave, oven or steamer.
Soak the bread slices in water and put them in the microwave. Put a container filled with water in there too. Usually 15-20 seconds is enough.
Exactly the same slices as for the first option should be wrapped in a damp towel and placed in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 2-3 minutes.
Alternatively, use foil, although in this case the time will have to be increased to 10-15 minutes.
Leave the bread to cool wrapped in foil until it becomes really soft.
In normal steamer mode, 1-2 minutes is enough for bread in normal mode.
By the way, due to the lack of the necessary unit, it can be replaced with a saucepan and a colander placed on it.
