There is probably not a single person who has not tried potato pies – if not cooked, then certainly eaten.

But not everyone has had the chance to try the version that will be discussed in this recipe.

But first things first. To prepare the dough, you will need to combine 300-400 ml of kefir, an egg, 0.5 teaspoon of salt and soda (without top), 2-4 tablespoons of vegetable oil and flour (as much as the dough will take).

The dough should not be tough, but soft - after you finish kneading the dough, leave it for 10 minutes and you can start frying.

The secret lies in the filling itself.

To make it, you need to boil potatoes and mash them into a puree, then add fried onions, herbs and finely chopped pickles.

To prevent the latter from losing their flavor, they need to be added to the cooled puree.
