Sprats are a snack that can be found in a summer resident’s bag, a tourist’s backpack, a bachelor’s refrigerator, and even on a holiday table.
After eating fish, there is oil left, which is usually given to cats or poured down the drain. There is an interesting recipe, which means forget about this habit.
Actually, it is not necessary to use sprat oil. Any other fish preparation will do.
Boil the eggs hard and the carrots. When ready, peel the ingredients and mix with the bread crumbs.
Next we add the cheese (any kind will do, even processed cheese).
Add spices, fresh herbs and aromatic herbs to taste (onions, dill, parsley, basil – whatever you like and that goes well with the fish).
Place the blender into the ingredients, pour in the remaining oil and grind everything into a homogeneous mass.
Place the pate in the refrigerator and, once it has set, serve.
Bon appetit!
