Pickled mushrooms all year round: a simple recipe instead of store-bought pickles

With this recipe, you can forget about preparing pickled mushrooms for the whole winter. It is much easier to pickle champignons at home whenever you want.

The whole thing will take no more than 10 minutes – even faster than going to the store.

To prepare you will need:

  • 500 g fresh champignons;
  • 120 ml vegetable oil;
  • 100 ml of water;
  • 50 ml 9% vinegar;
  • 2 tsp sugar;
  • 1 tsp salt;
  • ½ tsp black pepper (peas);
  • 3 cloves of garlic;
  • 3 pcs. bay leaf.

How to cook

It is better to choose small mushrooms, as large ones will have to be cut, and this is not as aesthetically pleasing.

Mix all liquid and dry ingredients in one pan and cook the marinade over low heat.

Bring to a boil and add mushrooms. After that, cook for 5 minutes and put into clean jars.

Pour the marinade over the preparation and let it cool before serving.
