Stewed cabbage cannot be called a boring dish, because there are several recipes that make the dish simply magnificent.

Simple ingredients turn this treat into a work of culinary art.

To prepare a hearty and aromatic dish you will need:

  • white cabbage – 1 pc.;
  • onions – 3 pcs.;
  • carrots – 2 pcs.;
  • mushrooms – 300 g;
  • minced meat (meat, fish, chicken) – 500 g;
  • chopped tomatoes – 300 ml;
  • vegetable oil – 80 ml;
  • butter – 30 g;
  • dill – 20 g;
  • bay leaf – 3 pcs.;
  • salt, sugar, black pepper (ground) – to taste.

Preparation

1. Chop the vegetables into thin strips. At the same time, you can put a frying pan on the fire and melt the butter.

2. When the frying pan is hot, put in the chopped vegetables. Fry for a few minutes, then add the tomatoes. Stew the ingredients for 20 minutes.

3. Put a second frying pan with vegetable oil on the fire. Put the minced meat on it, salt and pepper it.

4. When the minced meat is fried, move it to the pan with the vegetables and simmer under the lid for 20 minutes.

5. Next comes the special ingredient. The mushrooms are sliced and boiled in salted water.

6. Drain the mushrooms in a colander and transfer them to a frying pan with butter. After frying, combine the ingredient with the other ingredients.

7. Now all attention is paid to the frying pan, in which almost all the ingredients are collected. Its contents are salted and peppered, sugar is added to taste and mixed.

8. Dill is added at the very end, almost before serving.
