There are a couple of unpleasant qualities associated with dishes prepared with beans.

It takes a lot of time to prepare such dishes, and they can also cause undesirable effects on others.

To cope with preparing dinner much faster and do without the conditional “Espumisan”, you should pre-soak the beans.

There are three different ways to do this.

1. For this option, you will need to prepare 1 part dry beans and pour 3 parts cold water, then leave the beans in a cool place for at least 12 (but not more than 15) hours.

2. Unlike the long and cold previous method, this method involves quick hot soaking.

To do this, you will have to put the beans in a deep frying pan and pour water (the ratio is the same as in the first case). After the liquid boils, boil the beans for another 2-3 minutes on low heat, remove the pan from the stove and leave for an hour under a closed lid.

3. For the method described below, you will need a microwave. Place the beans in a microwave-safe dish, add water (remember, 1 to 3) and cook at full power for 10-15 minutes with the lid closed. After cooking, the beans should stand like this for another hour.

Don't forget to drain the water and rinse the beans - this is the only way to get rid of sugars and carbohydrates that cause gas.
