You can cook buckwheat in water, in milk, stew it in a pot with meat or vegetables, or add it when cooking the first course.
But these dishes are unlikely to delight children, which cannot be said about the buckwheat porridge called "Bird's Milk". Usually, this evokes associations with sweets.
It is best to cook this dish in a slow cooker.
1. First you need to peel, chop and fry the onion.
2. Then place the washed buckwheat groats into the multicooker bowl and fill it with water.
3. Add salt, turn on the “Porridge” mode or any other mode, the cooking time of which takes 30 minutes.
4. After 20 minutes, open the lid and add fried onions, cottage cheese, and butter one by one.
5. Mix the ingredients until smooth and cook until done.
Serve after the porridge has steeped in the closed multicooker for 10-15 minutes.
