You need to boil the cereal for three minutes.
Then we drain the liquid and start rinsing under a stream of cold water. Next, we put the pearl barley in a saucepan and add the liquid (the classic proportions are 1 to 3).
Place the pan on the fire and add salt. When it starts boiling, add a sandwich piece of butter and use a lid.
Reduce heat to low and wait 15 minutes.
