Flounder is on the list of fish whose meat doctors recommend to be consumed not only by adults, but also by small children.

The product is rich in protein and iodine. But not everyone includes flounder in their diet. The reason is its specific taste.

However, it is very easy to correct this shortcoming with one trick.

Preparation

1. Before cooking, pour lemon juice over the flounder and leave to sit for 10 minutes, then add salt and roll in flour.

If you add additional spices, the red fish will definitely seem bland against the background of the flounder. Rosemary, basil, lemon balm, thyme, and oregano are great for it.

2. Fry the fish in refined sunflower oil. Preheat the frying pan.

3. Fry the whole flounder on each side for about 7-8 minutes. If you are cooking fillets, reduce the time to 3-4 minutes.

4. After the fish is cooked, place the onion, cut into half rings, in the same frying pan.

5. When the vegetable acquires a golden hue, transfer it to the flounder and serve the dish with your favorite side dish, such as rice or mashed potatoes.
