Usually dumplings are boiled, and the high-calorie and quite nutritious broth flows into the sewer pipe.

There are different recipes for preparing these semi-finished products. They are cooked in pots, fried, baked, and also boiled in broth. We will tell you about the last option.

You can even cook store-bought dumplings. Then all you have to do is make the broth.

To prepare you will need:

  • 1 chicken breast (with bone);
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 carrot;
  • 2 liters of water;
  • salt and pepper to taste.

How to cook

Cook the broth as usual. You can cook the onion whole and even unpeeled – then the broth will be golden. The main thing is not to forget to take it out later.

It is better to peel the carrots and even cut them into small cubes.

Cut the breast into 2 parts, cook together with black peppercorns after boiling on minimum heat for 1 hour, constantly removing the foam, and then cook the dumplings, removing the chicken meat.

When ready, place the dumplings in deep bowls along with the broth and carrots. You can garnish with fresh herbs. You can leave the chicken breast for cooking other dishes.
