Parents were told which behavioral problems in children should not be ignored

Parents are often advised not to forbid their child to express their emotions, not to force them to share toys if they don’t want to, and many other different and useful pieces of advice.

Such prohibitions prevent him from expressing his emotions and feelings, which has negative consequences for development.

But there are also behavioral problems that cannot be ignored.

If a child interrupts

If a child has a habit of interrupting adults’ conversations, then it needs to be stopped.

Otherwise, he will believe that he has the right to have all the attention of adults concentrated on him alone.

If a child grows up rude

You can't stand by if a child bullies the weak, brothers, sisters or friends.

If you don’t intervene, by the age of 7-8 this will already be an ingrained habit that will be difficult to fight.

If he ignores requests

Children can be cunning and pretend that they did not hear what adults asked them to do.

Instead of repeating your request, go up to him and tell him so he can be sure to hear you.

If he gets irritated and is rude

When children start rolling their eyes, being rude, or reacting emotionally in response, they are trying to feel out their parents' reaction.

If you don't stop such attempts immediately, you could pay dearly for it in the future.

And, of course, it is necessary to regulate the behavior of a child who begins to lie, exaggerate, or do what he wants without his parents’ permission.

Remember that in each of these cases, it is important to understand the reason for the behavior, and not just threaten or punish.
