Finding a common language with teenagers is sometimes so difficult for parents that they involuntarily want to resort to the help of a specialist.

The experts themselves believe that it is normal for a teenager to argue and snap.

In an interview with 29.ru, child psychologist Tatyana Shukshina explained why it is so difficult for parents to find a common language with their teenager.

As the expert noted, one day the teenager stops communicating with his parents.

He answers any question as briefly as possible: “Yes”, “No”, “Normal”.

This starts to worry parents, but overall the reaction is normal.

The psychologist reminds that at this age the child is subject to much criticism.

And a rebellious teenager who defends his personal space even from his parents is also normal.

“It’s good that this is happening,” the expert reassures parents.

Based on the skills acquired during adolescence, the child will be able to build relationships with others in the future.

But such behavior can be considered normal if there is no place for violence in the family, the specialist emphasized.
