Many young parents often abuse prohibitions when raising small children.
However, this does not work as we would like.
The child often ignores “no” and acts as he wants, experts note.
Instead of using a categorical "no", you need to immediately come up with an alternative option for the child. The ban instills a sense of protest, so children do not want to obey.
If you suggest another action instead, the child will, in most cases, listen to you.
You can also consider another option.
If you notice that your child is exhibiting undesirable behavior, then prohibition or an alternative option does not always work. In such cases, you can always think of something to distract the child.
At this point, children will simply forget about what they were so passionate about.
