There are no downsides to plasticine, which develops fine motor skills and creativity in children, teaches them to construct and use their imagination.
All parents are sure of this until it ends up in the child’s hair.
In this article, we will tell you about three simple methods that will help you quickly and effectively wash children off plasticine.
To "treat" a child from plasticine, any food oil will do - sunflower, olive, butter, etc. The main thing is that the fat content of the product is as high as possible. Since oil acts on plasticine as a solvent, you will need to generously lubricate the dirty area of the hair, wait a few minutes, and then remove the remaining sticky mass with napkins.
Please note: only medical alcohol is suitable for removing plasticine; vodka will not cope with it.
Use alcohol in the same way as oil, but keep in mind that it evaporates quickly. This means that the plasticine will have to be moistened every 5-10 minutes. The advantage of this method is that there is no need to wash the child after the procedure - it is enough to moisten the hair and skin in the place of contact with alcohol.
A less convenient but more versatile method is to use ice. This method is suitable for cases when the plasticine does not dissolve in oil or alcohol (and this happens).
Take a few ice cubes, wrap them in a cloth and apply them to the curl with the stuck plasticine. After cooling, the plasticine becomes brittle and you will have about a minute to comb it out of your hair.
Earlier we talked about whether it is necessary to burden a child with studies during the summer holidays.
