What to play with children of different ages: choose any of these three games

If you're struggling to figure out what to do with your one-year-old and his or her 5-year-old brother or sister, try the options below.

1. What has changed?

Prepare a table for each child or simply clear a section of the floor where you can lay out several different items. The older the child, the more things there should be.
It is worth playing in turns - while one of the children turns away, the second hides the object, adds a new one or swaps them. The task of the child who turned away is to name what has changed.

2. Acrobat

For this game you will need a clothesline (you can use thick wool thread). Lay it out on the floor so that it twists and ask the children to walk along the rope, jump on one or two legs, run, and so on.

3. Lotto

This game can be played even when one of the children is not yet familiar with numbers - use lotto with pictures, for example, animals or other images. It will be great if mom and dad join the playing kids.
