How to teach a child to clean: only working tips

It is worth teaching your child to do simple chores around the house as early as 1-1.5 years old.

Over time, it is worth increasing the volume of household chores. To ensure that this process goes smoothly, use the following tips.

Praise your sons and daughters after they complete a task assigned to them - children like to be good, so they will be willing to help in the future.

Don't scold or raise your voice if your child doesn't want to clean up.

Instead, explain to your child what you want and offer to clean up together: “Please hand me that block over there – I want all the toys in their places.”

Alternatively, motivate your child with something interesting that you will do after the house is tidied up. You can offer the little one to read together or go to the beach.

Another way to inspire children to clean up is to challenge them to a competition: “I bet I can pick up all the scattered pencils faster than you?”

Don't redo the cleaning that your baby has done, and don't scold him under any circumstances, otherwise you will ruin all of your baby's efforts.
