When to cut your child's hair for the first time
If you are a mother or father of a baby, you have probably heard the advice that when the child is one year old, you must cut his hair, or even better, bald.
Representatives of the older generation are usually guilty of such recommendations.
Grandmothers and grandfathers are sure: it is necessary to cut off the first "fluff". Supposedly only after such a haircut will thick and beautiful hair grow.
But if you ignore the instructions of your elders, you will never see your luxurious curls again.
Fortunately, this statement has nothing to do with the true state of affairs. A haircut does not affect the thickness, color, texture or growth rate of hair in any way.
These factors are determined by genetics and can only change under the influence of changes occurring in the body (most often diseases).
If there are no cultural or religious restrictions that dictate when to cut your baby's hair, you can determine the time of the first haircut yourself, or you can skip it altogether.
The only real "consequence" of a haircut is that the baby's head will become cold. Even if the baby's hair is fluff, even it can warm, so in the cold season it is worth giving up short haircuts or remembering to keep warm with a hat.
