It is not without reason that kefir is extremely popular in the post-Soviet space.
The fermented milk drink combines a pleasant taste and incredible benefits.
Drinking kefir helps improve the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract.
The drink is also a source of vitamins and other useful components.
But many people have questions: "What fat content is ideal for kefir? Which type of product should I choose?"
But the choice is huge! There is low-fat kefir, and low-fat fermented milk drinks (0.5%, 1% and 1.5%), and products with “classic” indicators of 2.5% and 3.2%, and quite fatty drinks (for example, 3.6% or even higher).
It is advisable to choose kefir with a fat content of 2.5-3.2%.
The fat content of such a product will be appropriate: not too low and not too high.
With such indicators, fat-soluble vitamins are well absorbed. In addition, probiotics begin to act better on the organs of the gastrointestinal tract.
But low-fat kefir or a drink with a low fat content is unlikely to bring such benefits to the body.
Kefir, the fat content of which is higher than 3.2%, is unlikely to be suitable for people who are losing weight.
