Products for pancreatitis of the pancreas: what can and cannot be eaten

What can and cannot be eaten with pancreatitis

The basis of the diet for pancreatitis should be complex carbohydrates.

They can be consumed up to 300 grams. As for proteins and fats, they can be consumed no more than 160 and 80 grams per day, respectively.

In case of exacerbation of the disease, strict fasting is prescribed (two to three days), then a mono-diet consisting of mashed mucous porridges (rice, oatmeal), and then diet No. 5 (lots of vegetables, greens and fruits (except sour ones), a minimum of sugar and salt, low-fat dairy and meat products).

It is prohibited to consume with pancreatitis: bakery products, pastries, chips, nut butter, fatty dairy products, coffee with milk, mayonnaise, eggs with yolk, lamb, goose, duck, canned food with oil, vegetable oil, butter, lard, margarine, meat by-products, fatty red meat, fried foods, fast food, fatty sweets, ice cream, milkshakes, soda, alcohol.
