Thanks to their unique shape, they ensure the correct anatomical position of the head and neck - this is probably why these products are so popular.

However, not all happy owners of orthopedic pillows know the rules according to which the product should be placed so that it has a beneficial effect on your health.

For those who prefer to sleep on their back, it is recommended to place the pillow so that the head is approximately at the same level as the body.

If you have a wave-shaped pillow, choose a lower bolster for back sleeping.

Those who like to sleep on their side should choose a higher bolster. Your neck and upper back should rest on the pillow, and your shoulders on the mattress.

If you mostly sleep on your stomach, a low pillow should be your choice. But keep in mind that this position is the least favorable of all possible.
