Contrary to popular belief, low-fat cottage cheese is not healthier than full-fat cottage cheese.
Moreover, regular consumption of low-fat cottage cheese can cause serious harm to health.
Immunologist Andrey Prodeus warned about this on the air of the program “Live Healthy!”, mir24.tv reports.
As Prodeus explained, eating low-fat cottage cheese is fraught with the development of type 2 diabetes.
According to the expert, since there is no fat in this type of cottage cheese, it contains more carbohydrates.
And when there are more carbohydrates, there is more sugar, the expert explained.
Earlier, doctor Sergei Agapkin named a product that helps cope with insomnia.
