Some people get migraines when the weather changes, while others experience joint pain.
Why this happens was explained by Dmitry Gerasimenko, PhD in Medicine and Associate Professor of the Department of Cardiology and Internal Medicine at the Belarusian State Medical University.
As the doctor explained in the project “In the subject. Health” on the BELTA YouTube channel, fluctuations in barometric pressure, temperature, and humidity also cause changes inside the body.
According to him, in the case of migraine, the exacerbation is primarily associated with an increase in pressure in the internal sinuses of the facial skull due to weather changes.
As for the joint syndrome, as Gerasimenko explained, the increase in pressure from the inside out causes overstretching of the capsules, swelling of the ligaments and an increase in the amount of fluid in the muscles.
If a person has diseases that manifest as migraines, when the weather changes, their head will hurt, and if they have chronic joint diseases, their joints will hurt, the specialist summed up.
Previously, we talked about how to understand that fatigue is associated with heart disease.
