The shortest shelf life is for those salads to which eggs and canned vegetables are added.
They can be stored in the refrigerator for no more than six hours.
Seafood dishes can be stored at low temperatures for up to 12 hours.
If pickled vegetables, pickles or sauerkraut were added to the treat, it can remain on the refrigerator shelf for up to 36 hours.
At the same time, any refills significantly reduce the shelf life.
Specialist Elena Ershova spoke about this in more detail, writes Life .
She explained that mayonnaise and any other dressings speed up the spoilage process.
For example, salads dressed with sour cream or yogurt are not intended for storage. If they stand in a warm place for half an hour, they begin to spoil.
Ershova recommended not to prepare such treats in large quantities, and to serve the dressing during the feast.
It is better to store dishes without sauce in the refrigerator and in airtight containers.
Earlier we talked about how to replace mayonnaise in New Year's salads.
