Tea is a wonderful drink. It saves in the morning when you need to perk up and get into the working mood, and it often accompanies friendly gatherings. Many people prefer to brew a cup of this drink when they need to quench their thirst or warm up.

But few people know that you can’t drink the drink hot.

If you drink tea every day whose temperature is higher than 70 degrees, then the risk of encountering laryngeal and esophagus cancer increases several times. The optimal temperature should be about 50-60 degrees.

Surgeon Alexander Umnov provided more details, writes NEWS.ru.

He noted that a hot drink also impairs the functioning of food receptors, which ultimately reduces the pleasure of eating.

In addition, tooth enamel deteriorates and caries develops.

The downsides don't end there.

Umnov added that hot drinks cause the blood vessels in the nasal cavity to expand, which can cause nosebleeds.
