Diabetes is a dangerous disease that requires a certain diet. You need to be responsible when choosing food and drinks.
Nutritionist Kirill Strelnikov spoke about this in more detail in a conversation with representatives of the publication “ Moscow Region Today ”.
He noted that first of all, it is necessary to maintain water balance and drink sufficient amounts of clean water.
But you shouldn’t deny yourself the pleasure and ignore your usual tea or coffee.
Still, a cup of aromatic and invigorating drink will do you good.
These drinks have a positive effect on the cardiovascular system. But it is important that they do not contain harmful additives, for example, sugar or cream. In this case, the effect will only be negative.
As the doctor noted, you can drink 2 cups of tea and up to 3-4 cups of coffee per day.
But here you should take into account the recommendations of your doctor. In some cases, coffee may still be prohibited.
Strelnikov also spoke about other drinks that should be banned. We are talking about fruit juices and sweet soda.
