They say that female alcoholism is a disease that cannot be cured. But is it really so?
The answer to this question was given by narcologist Ruslan Isaev.
The specialist noted that this is just a myth.
As the doctor noted, most often conclusions about the incurability of the disease are made due to the lack of a complete understanding that the woman has received all the necessary help.
If a person was simply coded, it does not mean that he recovered.
In this case, the work was not completed.
Isaev also suggested where the myth could have come from. As Lenta.ru reports, citing a physician, most often only 20-25 percent of women are in rehabilitation clinics, but the percentage in society is usually higher.
The doctor also suggested that the responsibility for preserving the family and home falls on the shoulders of women, which means that representatives of the fair sex are less inclined to engage in risky behavior, and this can also include alcohol abuse.
