Powder is needed to fix makeup and also to even out the texture and color of the skin.

However, this popular cosmetic product can clog pores and worsen the condition of your skin.

To prevent this from happening, when using powder, you should follow a few rules.

1. To avoid over-drying your skin, first apply a foundation or cream to your face.

2. Powder should be applied 10 minutes after applying the base makeup, which needs to be absorbed. Excess cream can be removed by blotting the face with a napkin.

3. Do not apply the “plaster” in a thick layer – it looks unaesthetic and also highlights all the flaws.

4. As you know, makeup partially crumbles or can smudge during the day, so to look your best, it's worth touching it up. To do this, first remove the oily shine with matting wipes and only then apply powder.

Otherwise, you risk clogging your pores, which will inevitably lead to acne.

5. Don’t forget to thoroughly wash your makeup tools – bacteria actively multiply on dirty sponges, puffs and brushes.
