Cataract is an eye disease in which the lens of the eye becomes partially or completely cloudy. There is no pain or irritation, but the quality of vision suffers.

Dr. Ana Dgebuadze spoke in more detail about the problem, the Izvestia publication reports.

First of all, as the doctor noted, there is a fogging up, a veil appears before the eyes, and the acuity or sharpness of vision decreases.

Gradually, the patient may feel as if he is looking at the world through dirty glass.

The image becomes blurry and the colors appear more muted.

In addition, there is a decrease in light sensitivity. Double vision may also occur.

But that's not all.

Dgebuadze noted during a conversation with the press that the signs also include the appearance of halos and light scattering around light sources. This is especially dangerous for those who drive a car, since the light from oncoming headlights can blind.
