Culinary records are a very interesting thing. Chefs prepare the largest pizza, sushi roll, or other fast food.

Classic dishes are more difficult to prepare. For example, an omelette – even in a regular frying pan, not every housewife can make it fluffy.

Portuguese chefs decided to make the world's largest omelette from 145 thousand eggs and they succeeded.

The Guinness Book of Records says that the world's largest omelette weighed 6,466 tons.

It was prepared in Camara de Ferreira do Zezere, (Santarém, Portugal) on August 11, 2012.
