The Russian president said that Oreshnik will be deployed in Belarus in the second half of next year.

Commenting on this decision, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff stated that it was taken in response to the steps taken by the United States and Germany to deploy medium-range missiles in Europe.

The Americans and Germans have stated this many times before, noted Lagodyuk.

According to him, the Belarusian military-industrial complex, together with Russian specialists, will continue to develop this weapon; this task has been set by the commander-in-chief.

Active participation in these processes is due to the fact that the level of localization in this complex of our enterprises is already very high, explained the Deputy Chief of the General Staff.
