A resident of the Minsk region robbed a car wash in order to stay in the capital's hotels.
Now the man is a defendant in a criminal case, the Telegram channel of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee reports.
How a Belarusian robbed a car wash to stay in hotels
Criminal investigation officers from the Frunzensky District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk detained a 46-year-old resident of the Minsk region who robbed a car wash in the capital.
The man had prepared thoroughly. Having come to the car wash under the pretext of employment, he found out the work schedule and where the cash register was kept.
Two days later, the man came to the car wash at the end of the working day and hid in the utility room.
When the car wash closed, he left the hideout and stole all the proceeds and money from the safe (the key was in the keyhole).
After this, the man tried to wipe his fingerprints off the furniture and turned off the light.
With the stolen money, he rented several rooms in different hotels and a daily apartment in Minsk, and also bought a used smartphone.
Conspiracy measures did not help the man avoid responsibility. Now he is a defendant in a criminal case.
