Giving advice and acting on someone else's advice are two completely different things, especially when it is unclear how everything might ultimately turn out.

Such examples include recommendations for caring for strawberries in particular. Trusting someone else's opinion, you can end up without berries.

We will tell you about agricultural issues that, according to experts, are best excluded when it comes to strawberries.

Any gardener knows how important the soil structure is for the harvest. The denser and heavier the soil in the garden, the less chance of success. And vice versa, if the soil is light and loose, then many crops bear fruit like yeast.

However, in the case of strawberries, regular loosening will not produce fruit.

This is not the best option for caring not only for strawberries, but also for other plants with a superficial root system.

This is why strawberries are not so much loosened as mulched.

Straw has proven to be the best choice in this regard. It is important to change the bedding periodically, especially after winter, so that pests and pathogenic bacteria do not settle in the mulch.
