The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has made an important statement concerning Belarus.
It is said that in the republic, in the period from January to September of the outgoing year, there was the largest increase in wages among all countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
It is also reported that such growth occurred in all EAEU states, but in Belarus it was greater than in others.
Numbers
As Belta reports with reference to the statement of the EEC, in Belarus the growth of average monthly real wages for the specified period amounted to 11.3%.
In second place is Russia (plus 9%). Next come Kyrgyzstan (+ 6.7%), Armenia (+ 6.6%) and Kazakhstan (+ 2.9%).
Belarus is also the leader in terms of nominal wage growth for the first 9 months of 2024. The indicator increased by 19.6%.
Following the republic were Russia (+ 18%), Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan (+ 11.8% for both countries) and Armenia (+ 6.6%).
Salary in dollars
The EAC also calculated the average monthly nominal salary (in dollar equivalent) for the first nine months of this year.
Russia leads in this indicator with $928. Kazakhstan is in second place with $854.
Next come Armenia ($713), Belarus ($690) and Kyrgyzstan ($409).
