What You Shouldn't Say in a Cemetery: Remember This for Life

Many of us often visit cemeteries to visit deceased relatives and friends, clean up graves, and remember those who are no longer in the world of the living.

There is a belief (possibly related to the specifics of the place) that two worlds intersect in the cemetery – the earthly and the otherworldly.

This is where the idea took root that certain rules must be strictly observed among those buried.

One of these concerns conversation, namely, it prohibits speaking out loud about certain things.

In particular, in a cemetery, it is considered unacceptable to complain about your life.

Esotericists explain: if you often say how hard it is for you, this can become a sign for the soul of the deceased - the person needs help and is taken to another world so that he no longer suffers.

There is an opinion: all the good things that you constantly talk about at the grave will remain there.

For example, if you always talk about your successes at work, you will soon become bored with that very job.

It is also forbidden to talk about happy events, just as it is not allowed to count money in this sacred place.

As for finances, there is a belief that if this issue is often discussed out loud in the cemetery, then the money will leave you.

By the way, if you find coins among the graves, don't take them, leave them.

Another taboo is directly related to the deceased – one cannot judge them in the cemetery. Let us recall the unspoken command: speak of the deceased either well or not at all.

There is a belief that if you discuss the dead out loud, they may not like it, and then the person who said all this will face big trouble.
