What is the best product for cleaning switches: even yellowed plastic will become white again

Unfortunately, cleaning switches is given undeservedly little attention.

At the same time, we touch them several times every day – sometimes with dirty and wet hands, and sometimes even with greasy ones, if we are talking about switches installed in the kitchen.

Therefore, if you do not wipe them from time to time, over time, persistent marks will form on the surface - you will not be able to get rid of them with just a damp cloth.

Here's a life hack: you can get rid of dirt using the most common alcohol or a product containing alcohol.

A cotton pad should be soaked in an alcohol-containing liquid and applied to the dirty switch for 20-30 seconds, after which the surface should be thoroughly wiped.

What about those switches that have changed color from white to yellow over time?

In this case, you will need a drug called dimexide - it can be purchased at your local pharmacy.

To whiten the surface, soak a cloth in a solution of dimexide and wipe the yellowed areas.

Wait 5-10 minutes, then remove any remaining product with a napkin.

Important: when working with dimexide, it is recommended to use a mask and gloves, as it has a strong odor and can dry out the skin if it comes into contact with it.
