How to clean the outside of a kettle: no need to scrub

As is known, citric acid helps fight scale that forms inside the kettle.

But dirt also accumulates outside and needs to be cleaned.

We are talking about splashes, greasy drops and other dirt that settles on the sides of kitchen utensils, especially if the kettle is constantly on or near the stove.

You can immediately put the dishwashing liquid aside – it won’t be able to cope with such serious stains.

But there is no need to worry, because in your kitchen cupboard you will find much more effective remedies – baking soda and lemon.

You will need a small container in which you should mix three tablespoons of baking soda and lemon juice and wait for the reaction.

After this, soak a sponge in the resulting mixture and apply it to the walls of the kettle.

Caution: If you are cleaning an electric kettle, do not allow the cleaning paste to come into contact with the area near the cord or the button that turns the appliance on and off.

After 5-10 minutes, wipe off any remaining dirt and cleaning solution with a damp cloth and wipe the kettle dry.
