How to Clean Stainless Steel Baking Trays Properly: They Will Be Like New

Since stainless steel pans are used to prepare a wide variety of foods, over time they become coated with a thick layer of grease and other contaminants.

It is unlikely that any housewife would think of leaving them in this state, since it is, at the very least, unsafe.

Therefore, it is worth taking note of a few simple tricks that will help you return your baking sheets to their original appearance using simple means.

Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide

To clean a baking sheet using baking soda and hydrogen peroxide, sprinkle it generously with baking powder, then pour in the peroxide to create a paste.

Sprinkle the resulting paste with soda again and leave for 2-3 hours, and when the time is up, rub the surface with a soft sponge. All that remains is to rinse the pan with warm water and wipe it dry.

Aluminum foil

Make a loose ball out of a piece of aluminum foil. Squeeze dishwashing liquid directly onto the baking sheet and rub with the ball.

Then follow the old procedure – rinse with warm water and dry.

Please note: This method is effective for removing tough stains, but cannot be used if the pan has a non-stick coating.

Baking Soda and Vinegar

Pour a quarter cup of baking soda onto a baking sheet, pour in vinegar until it reacts with fizzing and leave it like this for half an hour, or better yet, overnight (for heavily soiled kitchen utensils).

Finally, wipe the baking sheet with a non-abrasive sponge, wash off the dirt and cleaning agent, and dry.
