The first thing many experienced housewives do with newly purchased cookware is to grease it with vegetable oil.

A completely natural question arises: “Why cover new plates and cups with a viscous liquid?”

It turns out that in certain situations this “strange” procedure turns out to be quite effective.

An interesting effect is achieved, thanks to which one common problem is solved.

Why oil new cookware?

Very often there are stickers on the dishes sold.

Removing the latter correctly (so that no traces of paper or glue remain) is quite difficult.

But if you use vegetable oil, the desired result will be achieved without any problems.

Simply coat the areas of the plates and cups where the paper labels are attached with the viscous product and leave the dishes like this for several hours.

Once the time is up, the stickers will come off with incredible ease.

Of course, you only need to cover with vegetable oil those dishes that have stickers. You don't need to do this with plates and cups without glued tags.
