Infrequent change of bed linen can lead to serious health problems.
Rospotrebnadzor specialist Margarita Matrosenko warned about this.
The expert's recommendations are cited by Sputnik radio.
As Matrosenko explained, infrequent changes of bed linen can cause the development of allergies and even asthma.
The specialist recommended changing bed linen at least once a week.
The expert advised washing bed linen at a temperature of 60-70 degrees with detergents without chlorine, phosphates and enzymes.
Also, the amount of surface-active substances (surfactants) in the powder should be reduced.
