This does not mean that the replaced item must be washed immediately. It may well (after it has completely dried) wait for “its turn” in the laundry basket.
But you need to change towels on time. Considering the high frequency of this action, it is advisable to buy a lot of towels: so that there is always a supply of fresh items in the cabinet.
It also makes sense to use disposable towels.
Important point: if a face towel or a hand/foot towel can be replaced every 3 days, then with a towel for intimate hygiene this must be done after each use.
