Mid-summer is the perfect time to learn about ways to make the microclimate in your apartment more pleasant.
The film, which partially reflects the sun's rays, is supposed to be glued to the inside of the window. Although "glue" is, of course, a strong word: the film is attached without glue and is held in place by static electricity.
These curtains block out 90% or more of the sun's rays. Draw them in the morning to prevent the light from heating up the surfaces in the room. This will help keep the room cool.
If you want to enhance the effect of blackout curtains, spray them with water from a spray bottle.
If it's really hard to sleep because of the stuffiness, try soaking a small terry towel with room temperature water and placing it on your bare thigh. This method can be used for both adults and children, the main thing is not to use cold water and not to cover more than one thigh.
To make the fan even more effective, try hanging a small bag filled with ice from the fan's mesh. Note: the bag should be tight so that water does not get on the fan.
To quickly cool a room, fill a basin with ice water (you can add ice), wet a rag and walk across the floor 2-3 times.
