It is important to understand that bread is a product with a short shelf life. Regular yeast bread is stored for about three days, sourdough bread a little longer, and this is normal.
However, the shelf life of any bread can be significantly extended by placing it in foil or a bag in the freezer.
Bread can be stored in the freezer for months. To defrost, place the bread in foil in a preheated oven for a few minutes. Or make toast right away.
