Household chemicals make the process of washing dishes much easier, effectively dissolving grease and other dirt.
However, such products cannot be called ideal, because many of them are difficult to wash off and can remain on dishes.
There are other times when you should look for a replacement for store-bought detergent, such as when you run out.
If there are people in the house who suffer from allergies or small children, you should use dry mustard, laundry soap or soda as a dishwashing detergent.
They do their job perfectly, wash off well, and do not harm health or the environment.
Unfortunately, even folk remedies have a downside - they are not very convenient to use, and their consumption cannot be called economical.
If you are not ready to make such a drastic change, and you still don’t have any dishwashing detergent, use regular shampoo or soap.
Apply these products to a sponge and lather.
However, you should still avoid using washing powder and bleaching soap for this purpose. And remember that this is only a temporary solution.
