Not only the efficiency of the appliance, but also your health depends on whether you use the hood installed in your kitchen correctly.

Let's get acquainted with the four basic rules of using a hood, thanks to which you can get rid of unpleasant odors, greasy deposits and other contaminants.

1. Don't wait until the kitchen is filled with unpleasant odors and steam.

It is recommended to turn on the hood immediately after the start of the cooking process or a few minutes before it.

2. Do not turn on the device immediately at maximum power. This will create additional load on the electric motor, which can lead to its rapid wear.

To extend the service life of the electric motor, it is recommended to perform a soft start, starting with minimum power and adjusting it as necessary.

3. Turn off the hood when the air in the room becomes clean and fresh. It is recommended to leave the hood on for another 5-15 minutes after the end of the cooking process.

This is because after cooking, there are still vapors, particles, and odors in the air that can spread throughout the room due to drafts. It takes some time to completely remove these contaminants from the air.

4. It is also not recommended to cook dishes that require the use of open fire under the hood, as this creates a fire hazard.

Grease deposited on the hood filter can easily ignite due to high temperatures.
