What products are not suitable for washing a window sill
It would be a huge mistake to use household chemicals with abrasive elements: such products will ruin the top layer of the window sill.

Many products with chemically active substances are also not suitable for washing the window sill. It is possible that they will negatively affect the plastic.
In addition, you should not wipe the window sill with a brush that is too hard. Such a popular product as a melamine sponge is also not suitable for the procedure. In both cases, the surface will most likely be seriously damaged.
What products are suitable for washing a window sill?
The surface will be free of stains, will become snow-white again and will not be covered with scratches if the housewife uses any of the following means:
- soapy water (the ideal option is based on grated laundry soap);
- vinegar and soda (the mixture should not be left on the plastic for too long);
- a solution of soda and washing powder (you need to use a spray bottle).
